Located on the outskirts of Portadown, Prentice is a family-owned business.
Operating from our state-of-the-art showroom, we are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated individual to join our team.
About the Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a Part Time Showroom Host/Hostess join our Showroom Host Team.
The purpose of the role is to create a positive first impression to all customers and visitors, ensuring they receive a professional, efficient and courteous experience.
The Host/Hostess team is the first point of contact for all visitors and customers to our showroom, therefore you are expected to be able to provide a professional service in a warm and friendly manner and be able to provide fast and efficient telephone service to customers and staff.
Reporting to the senior management team, the successful candidate must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of this role which include but are not limited to:
To initially meet and greet and customers or visitors, finding out the nature of the enquiry and introduction to a Sales / Service Department
To efficiently operate the company switchboard passing all enquiries efficiently to the relevant departments.
Keep an accurate record of all messages, ensuring they are passed on promptly to the appropriate person.
To ensure customers or visitors feel welcome and provide refreshments when required
Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that all customers or visitors are being dealt with promptly and professionally.
To ensure the reception area and waiting areas are kept neat and tidy at all times.
General housekeeping to reflect Brand values
To leave the showroom, particularly the reception area clean and tidy, switching off electrical appliances, showroom music, coffee machine etc.
Operation of showroom music system
Any other duties that may be required as directed by the Manager
Take an active part in upholding the Company’s Health and Safety Policy as set out in the Conditions of Employment and the Health & Safety Handbook.
Essential Criteria
The applicant must demonstrate how they meet the following criteria:
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Receptionist/Showroom Host Role
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (Including Maths and English)
Excellent IT Skills with experience in Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and strong communication skills
Hours of Work and Salary
This role requires a level of flexibility but initially the successful candidate would ideally be required for a part-time position.
Hourly Rate - £12.21 depending on experience
Employment within Prentice Portadown is offered subject to satisfactory reference and qualification checks.
